Virginia “Ginny” Sue Willis Scott, age 64, of Foley, AL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
Ginny was born on April 18, 1962, in St. Louis, MO. She was a dedicated employee of Momentum Textiles, where she worked for more than 20 years.
Ginny lived life with a generous heart and a love for the things that brought her joy. She loved the beach, the color purple, getting her nails done, crafting and sewing, and most of all, helping others. She was an avid Jeep rider and cherished the friendships and adventures she found within the Jeep community. She was proud to be a part of the Gulf Coast Crusaders, Pensacola Jeep Club, and Milton Jeep Club.
Ginny's family honors August 12 as the day she passed. Because she had chosen to become an organ donor, her final gift of life continued through August 13. Through that selfless decision, Ginny was able to give hope and the possibility of a new beginning to others. Her generosity was a beautiful reflection of the caring person she was throughout her life.
Ginny was preceded in death by her mother, Naomi Sue Brisco; her father, Negial Lee Brisco; and her brother, Douglas Lee Brisco.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Tracy Scott, and a loving blended family who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
She is survived by her sons, Nicholas Willis (Meaghan) and their son, Rhett; Andrew Willis (Danielle); Zachary Willis (Michaela); Matthew Willis; and Codey Dowling (Katie). She is also survived by Aarron Scott and his sons, AJ and Karter; Joey Scott; and Ashley Scott and her son, Thomas. Ginny was also a loving presence in the lives of Corbin, Trysta, and Jace Olivia.
Ginny's greatest treasures were the people she loved. She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched with her kindness and willingness to help others. Her love, laughter, adventurous spirit, and generous heart will live on in the memories and stories shared by those who knew her best.
A celebration of Ginny's life will be held during the Gulf of America Jeep Fest on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Words of remembrance will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a come and go gathering where family and friends are invited to share memories, offer condolences, and celebrate Ginny's life in the Jeep community she loved so much.
Come as you are, stay as long as you'd like, and help us celebrate the life of Ginny.
