Virginia Gardner McPhail of Pensacola died Sunday, May 7, 2017. She passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side.

Virginia grew up in Rochester, New York and moved to Florida more than four decades ago. Virginia's passions included the arts, reading, and history. She loved the outdoors and found great joy in her family and two dogs. She was a wonderful mother to her children and will be forever missed.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Ronald McPhail; her siblings, four children, and seven grandchildren.
