Wilbur “Will” Eugene Deuvall, 86, died peacefully, on August 31, 2026 at his Pensacola home with his daughter by his side.

Will was born on May 18, 1940 in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Wilbur Eugene Deuvall and Wilma Grace Deuvall. Wilma Deuvall later married the late Ed Walker and raised Will in Lincoln Park, New Jersey. Will loved cars, tennis, painting, flying and even ballroom dancing. His daughter (Michelle) and granddaughters (Lauren and Ashley) also shared the love for dance and he delighted in taking his granddaughters to tennis lessons, out for ice cream and Lauren even took flight lessons for several years.

Will secretly married Nancy Jean Adams on January 1, 1965. They got married publicly at Christ Church in Pensacola on July 20, 1965. They moved to Pensacola after Will got out of the Navy in 1968. Their daughter, Michelle Christine Deuvall, was born on October 12, 1972. She was born and raised in the same home where they lived for over 20 years. They also enjoyed water skiing, sleepovers and shrimp boils at their other home on Perdido River for over a decade.

Will worked at PHI in Houma Louisiana flying helicopters to the oil wells for 10 years, then Whiting Field as a helicopter flight instructor where he ended up retiring.

He was a member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church and then Christ Church where Michelle married her husband, Judson “Judd” Greer Saiter.

Will is survived by his daughter, Michelle Saiter (Judd); his granddaughters, Lauren and Ashley Saiter; his brother in law, Stan Adams; sister in law, Janet Boland (Larry); sister in law, Vicki Taylor (John); his niece, Kimberley Rooney (Paul); nephew, Lane Adams; niece, Amanda Holt, niece, Tracey Taylor (Akel) and niece, Tiffany Taylor.

He is preceded by death by his wife, Nancy Deuvall; mother, Wilma Deuvall; fathers, Wilbur Deuvall and Ed Walker; mother in law, Velma Adams; father in law, Liston Adams; step brother, Ed Walker Junior and brother in law, John Taylor.

The family is grateful for the many caregivers and healthcare professionals that touched Will’s life from Peoples Hospice and Cornerstone Caregivers.

A funeral procession will leave Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm to go to Barrancas National Cemetery for a graveside service on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 2:30 pm including Navy Honors and he will be interred there next to his wife Nancy Adams Deuvall.
