William Henry "Denson" Murphy, 94, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018.

Mr. Murphy was born in Dorsey, MS. He retired from the U.S. Navy where he served as an Aircraft Electrician, First Class.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Gara Mae; daughter, Nancy; step-daughter, Arlene; father, Henry Luther and mother, Lulu.

Mr. Murphy is survived by his daughter, Linda Sue Hoff of Pensacola; daughter Jennifer Ann Moszkowski of Navarre; son, Roger Allen Murphy of Pensacola; step-grandson, Heath Gatlin (James Montague) of Boston, MA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 10:30 to 11:30 am at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. A funeral procession will leave Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 11:30 am for a graveside service at Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:00 pm.
