William Thomas Hartley, 59, a lifelong resident of Pensacola, born on July 13, 1950, died Saturday September 26, 2009. Bill graduated from Woodham High School and Pensacola Junior College. He served as a paramedic for many years, then worked in the State EMS office in Disaster Response and Rural grants. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Seabie and Fay Hartley. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sandra, two sons, Daniel and Thomas Wimer, and his daughter Melissa Bain and husband Tony, grandchildren Bradley and Reagan Bain, his brother, Wilton Andrews of Salem, Oregon, and his best friend of many years, Joe Diamond. As well, his beautiful chocolate lab, Clinton, is left behind to grieve him. Visitation 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2009, with the Memorial Service commencing at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mark United Methodist Church, 2203 North 12th Avenue, Pensacola, 32503. Pallbearers will be Joe Diamond, Pat Kostic, Eddy Lane, Paco Meador, Robert Sims, and Bruce Yelverton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in his name to the Pensacola Junior College Foundation EMS scholarship Fund.
