William Stephen Hatcher, 69, of Pensacola, FL passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, after a brief illness. He was born July 9, 1952, in Pensacola, FL.

Steve graduated from Escambia High School and Pensacola State College. He served in the USAF in Germany and worked as a technician in the computer chip industry.

Steve was kind, witty, and fun loving, but above all kind and helpful to everyone. He enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, and rooting for the Crimson Tide with his niece, Rebecca. He left every encounter with the reminder to everyone "Enjoy life."

He is preceded in death by his parents, W. M. and Lucille Hatcher as well as his wife, Darlene Moody.

Steve is survived by his stepdaughter, Kari Michelle Luther, and her daughter Maddie Michelle Luther of Savannah; sisters, Julia "Judy" Pruden (Al), and Marian "Beth" Hatcher and niece Rebecca Foreso all residing in Pensacola.

There will be a private graveside for the family.
