William "Billy Nick" Pieler, 68, of Pensacola left this earth for the Land of Glory on June 14, 2016. Bill was a beloved father, husband, friend and dedicated companion to his two dogs, Nicholas and Alexander. He worked in the banking business in Pensacola for over 40 years, and recently retired from Charter Bank. He served in the Army Reserve.

Bill was preceded in death by his mother and father, William and Helen Mae Cartwright Pieler.

Bill's wife is Catherine Archer Pieler. Bill's daughters are Jennifer Smith of Kearneysville, WV, who is married to Darren Smith. Their children are: Dustin, Duncan, Delaney, Daniel, Dane and Dory. Niki Koutz of Brandon, FL, who is married to Kevin Koutz. Their children are Kaleb, Hope, and Benjamin. Lindsay Fowler of Pensacola, who is married to Chris Fowler. Shannon Kennedy Fernandez of Orlando, FL, who is married to Cesar Fernandez. Their daughter is Amelia. Bill's brother-in-law is Mickey Archer of Pace, FL who is married to Linda Archer.

A memorial service celebrating Bill's life will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held at 2pm, with the service beginning at 2:30pm.
