William "Woodie" Stone of Pensacola, FL passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 in a local hospital.

He was born in Pensacola on January 30, 1954 to the late Francis Woodie "Bubba" Stone and Kathryn "Kitty" Gibson. He graduated from Washington High School in 1971 and spent most of his life in the sales industry.

Woodie is survived by his daughter, DeShea Stone Kennedy (Sam) of Auckland, New Zealand; mother, Kathryn Stone; sister, Deborah Stone Ward (Marc); nephew, Zachary Ward (Melissa) of Pensacola, FL; niece, Angela Bell (Glynn) of Arlington, TX and numerous family and friends to mourn his passing. He is also survived by his loving partner of many years, Janice Nicholson of Pensacola.

A private family interment will be held at St. John's Cemetery.
