Woodie L. Glaze, 86, of Pensacola died Monday, September 1, 2008. Mr. Glaze was born in Soperton, GA on August 19, 1922, and had resided in Pensacola for many years. He retired with 36 years of service with Bell South as a Supervisor. Mr. Glaze was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and East Brent Baptist Church. His parents Hilmon and Eva Glaze and sister Salijo Martin preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Vinona Glaze; sons Lee Glaze (Cindy), Rick Glaze (Lori); grandchildren Chris Glaze (Stephanie), Michael Glaze, Rachel Glaze, Benjamin Glaze, Sarah Glaze; great grandson Sean; and brother Jack Glaze (Joyce). Visitation will be 6:00pm-8:00pm Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be 10:00am Friday, September 5, 2008, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Dr. Dale Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
