Our Story
In September of 1979, the late Ben Morris and the late Edward Harper, Jr. began Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 2276 Airport Boulevard in Pensacola, Florida. In March of 1982, Ben's oldest son, the late Don Morris, became a funeral director and joined the company to follow in his father's footsteps. Both father and son were true "Southern Gentlemen". We are now in our third generation of funeral directors. Tanner Morris and his brother, Brian Morris, are the funeral directors in the family. Their father, the late Don Morris, and their grandfather, the late Ben Morris, would be so very proud of the family tradition and the personal family touch that the funeral home continues to give. Now Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel is 38+ years old and in a new facility in which to work with and serve our families better.
